Alvaro and Pablo, brothers from Santander, Spain, started the goal of creating a gourmet tinned seafood experience, with an emphasis on modern fishing practices and traceability. They exclusively source their fish from markets along the Cantabrian Sea, placing an added focus on the culinary traditions of their family.
These conservas are prepared in extremely small batches due to the high quality of their ingredients, the seasonality of the fish, and the presentation of their packaging. Each tin is numbered to account for traceability and accompanied with information about the origin of the fish within.

Conservas Braseadas Güeyu Mar are chargrilled seafood products cooked before being preserved in extra-virgin olive oil.
They are the result of Abel Alvarez’s fondness for quality cans and his obsession with innovating. After many years of research, he has succeeded in canning the seafood that he cooks on his grill, keeping its impeccable flavour, aroma, and texture. He started braising and canning sardines and continued with razor clams, cockles, tuna, and mussels.
From the grill to the can, an entire 100% homemade gourmet experience comes into being. Conservas Güeyu Mar’s canned products are created only to satisfy the palates eager for new and creative gastronomic approaches.
